We are proud to announce that HACU’s 3rd International Conference on Natural Resources and Cultural Heritage will be held at the Town and Country Resort and Convention Center, San Diego, California from April 6 through April 8, 1999. The theme for this year’s conference is "HUMAN LANDSCAPES: La Gente y su Ambiente."

The objectives of the conference are to promote the conservation of natural resources and protection of cultural heritage; to formulate partnerships with public, private and academic organizations; to promote student awareness and involvement in the conservation of natural resources and cultural heritage; and, to bring to the forefront issues that cross all boundaries in the Americas and bind us together in a hemispheric context.

The conference provides a forum for professionals and primarily Hispanic, Native American and indigenous students to discuss issues, share information, work together and receive training on pertinent matters pertaining to natural resources and cultural heritage.

If you would like us to add your name and address to our address file to receive all future information regarding the conference please send your information to kathy@hacu.net
